Karen is a minister with the United Church of Canada. A graduate of St. Andrew’s (Theological) College – University of Saskatchewan, Karen has many years of experience walking with individuals, couples and families in the highs and lows of life.

Prior to entering ministry, Karen worked for 20+ years in corporate Canada where she held various management and leadership positions.

Karen completed her education and training in psychotherapy through the Toronto Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education (TCPCE). As a Psychotherapist, she considers herself to be a trauma-informed therapist.
She has specific interest and experience working with individuals impacted by childhood trauma, abuse and neglect, as well as working with victims of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence.
Karen’s warm, relational approach to psychotherapy comes from her belief that at the core of each person lies authentic wholeness and peace that is often buried by the struggles and events of life. She sees the journey through therapy as a sacred journey of uncovering and discovering the unique authenticity and truth residing deep within every person.
